Experience in operations.
Depth in technology.

PlainwrightAI was founded by Spencer Loyd and Zachary Miller. Both are disabled veterans, bringing experience from global operations, military service, and high-stakes technology environments.

Spencer Loyd

Spencer Loyd

Co-founder & CEO

U.S. Air Force veteran

Understanding the operation before designing the solution.

Spencer holds a master’s degree in Project Management and has a background in facilities management, capital project management, and global programs management. He brings five years working in a highly regulated, controlled environment. He served as an aircraft mechanic in the U.S. Air Force.

Spencer Loyd is a Vacaville local who has been working with area businesses, including automatic gate companies, cleaning companies, and chiropractic practices.

His work includes designing global programs and standardizing operations across teams and functions. That experience informs how he examines business processes, identifies breakdowns, and determines where technology can help.

Spencer has used AI since ChatGPT’s release and has developed AI automations and solutions across facilities, environmental health and safety, real estate, security, and finance. His delivery experience includes enterprise deployments, regulated migrations, and change orders in controlled environments.

Zachary Miller

Co-founder & CIO

U.S. Marine Corps veteran

Technical judgment shaped by high-stakes work.

After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, Zachary continued cybersecurity work for the Department of Defense. He brings years of experience spanning complex global IT solutions, custom software development for the DoD, cybersecurity, and infrastructure.

That experience brings a practical understanding of the systems, dependencies, and security considerations behind a reliable implementation. At PlainwrightAI, it complements the operational perspective that guides the company’s consulting work.

Consulting comes first.

We serve small and midsize businesses, with a particular focus on small-business automation. We can also scope more complex deployments for midsize organizations with enterprise-style requirements.

Our aim is to understand where work slows down and choose an appropriate improvement. That includes recognizing where AI does not belong and where your existing systems already do their job well.

Let’s look at how your business works.

Tell us what takes too long, gets repeated, or falls between systems. We’ll start with the business problem.
